The Hot Dog Shop is worth checking out. Since 1985 they have been serving a wide range of Hot Dog styles including Chicago, Polish, Corn Dogs, Jersey, Fire and Footlong. Make your own original by selecting 4 free toppings. They also have Burgers, Texas BBQ, and Salads and Sandwiches. Everyday has a "daily special" and you can't go wrong as most include sides like fries. They proudly brew Luzianne Ice Tea along with Coffee and soft drinks. They are open early for Breakfast at 5:30am during the week with a famous Egg Breakfast Special. I was really surprised as they stay busy. They have open seating that is straight from the 1970's and Includes a full bar. This place can be described as "divey" in a good way. It is a great Happy Hour spot with Darts and TV's for the game. Bring your friends and family and try the daily specials. Steak Night is popular starting at 7:00pm on Thursdays for only 22.

I don’t know where they found the color they have.... But they should give them a raise!!! Man when I tell you everything is good! I had the polish and the philly dog, my wife had the cheeseburger, and she took it to work, all her coworkers were asking where she got the burger from, just in presentation alone! Definitely recommend for lunch or even a hangout after work. They have pool tables and a bar!!

We had 3 different hotdogs, a corn dog, 3 sides and a dessert. Everything was delicious - not a single miss and that's rare. If you're looking for good bar food, look no further!

A please surprise when I walked into a clean and well furnished dive bar! It is spacious inside with a variety of games too! First of all: a freestyle machine! Any restaurant with a freestyle machine wins every time! The Maxwell Polish: tasty and spicy! Chili cheese fries start off with a perfect crisp unlike any other and retain the firmness after being smothered with a perfect amount of sauce. Will be back for a burger!

I feel like this has been the closest I've got to a legit Chicago hot dog, sport peppers and seasoning, was really good, the polish was also really good. Service was very friendly. Atmosphere was a cozy old-school bar, pool tables, darts, shuffleboard, full bar. This would be a neat place for an inexpensive date.

The breakfast omelette with green peppers and onions was delicious! The Jersey footlong was outstanding. Highly recommend this restaurant! Also, server that took my order on the phone was friendly and professional.

A well hidden little gem. Full of local old school bar charm but with great hot dogs and burgers. Menu is pretty broad so expect to be pleased.
